R-Pod

R-Pod.. or.. Our Pod..

After much hunting, researching and climbing in and out of a bazillion trailers, RV's and 5th wheels we decided the one for us was the R-Pod.

They are built by Forest River and have a very good rating. We choose the RP-177 as this one is designed for off road use. Also it has all the luxury items one would expect in a bigger trailer.

Isnt this the quirkiest thing you ever saw? We got stopped a few times and asked about it and every camp site we go to, a crowd will form to quiz us on it.

So easy to pull and just the right size for the 2 of us and our 2 pugs..

Deuce Days - Victoria 2013

Today Teddi and I joined up with our good friends Walter and Suzanne to go into own and look at over 900 hot rods from the 1910's thru to 1960's. The theme of the show was Deuces... and yes there was Deuces! You truly do not need Viagra to get overly excited when you have that many hotrods at your disposal!

The crowds were thick and some of the folks were as dumb as a sack of bruised arse holes.. we avoided the drooling ones. Over all though, for the sheer number of people I only had a couple run ins and it was mostly due to picture taking. Now speaking of picture taking look at all this car porn...

This car had the biggest crowd, kids and adults alike were climbing all over it.. What a great car. A fellow came up and gave me a card and said to email him and her would send pictures of this beasty in a race..
